| Module-inhoud | To equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to apply the principles of Music Education in practice and to develop and enhance the inherent musicality of all learners. A holistic approach to Music Education is followed, based on the Curriculum and assessment policy statement (CAPS) and its application to Music Education within the Creative Arts. The focus in this module is on active involvement in music making (music activities) including instrumental accompaniment. Opportunities are provided to develop students’ music skills as well as music theoretical knowledge (music concepts). |
